This volume presents English translations of 16 primary sources of Slovenian political thought from the interwar period, selected and contextualized by nine contributing authors, including HERESSEE member Manca G. Renko. Each source includes a short biography of the author and an introduction situating the text within its historical, political, and intellectual context.
The collection highlights the diversity of interwar Slovenian political thought, spanning agrarian, socialist, communist, liberal, republican, Catholic, and feminist traditions. Rather than offering a simple categorization, the editors present political thought as a dynamic response to major historical transformations, such as the collapse of empires, the formation of new states, and challenges to liberal parliamentary systems.
This publication is not linked to the ERC-Project HERESSEE, however, it features team members, related participants, as well as a related topic to the project.
