Isidora Grubački is a historian of contemporary European history, specializing in the fields of transnational women’s history and political and intellectual history of feminism in the interwar period. Since 2021, she has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Contemporary History in Ljubljana. She defended her dissertation at the History Department of the Central European University (CEU) in Vienna in January 2024. In her dissertation, she explored the political transformation of interwar feminist organizing and feminist political thought in Yugoslavia, putting the Yugoslav case study in a comparative and transnational perspective through the involvement of Yugoslav women in the major international organizations of the time. During her doctoral studies, she was a visiting student at the University of Cambridge, she held an Erasmus internship at the University of Ljubljana and was awarded grants as a visiting researcher at the ÉHÉSS in Paris, the Institute of Contemporary History in Prague, and the Institute of Croatian Language and Linguistics in Zagreb.
